The School of Allied Medical Sciences of Iran University of Medical Sciences is among the most prestigious state universities in Iran. This School comprises 7 departments and offers educational and research services to B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. students.
 
School Mission
The mission of the School is the continuous promotion of the quality of educational, research, and advisory services with an innovative view towards the production of knowledge and science and training of expert researchers in the domains of hematology and blood bank, biotechnology, radiology, medical laboratory sciences, anesthesiology, operating room technology, and basic sciences. The other mission of the School involves providing an environment conducive to the promotion and flourishing of faculty members and personnel.

The research laboratories of Biotechnology, Hematology, Microbiology, Basic Sciences, Biochemistry, Parasitology, Immunology, Mycology, Chemistry, and Physics at this School provide services to professors, students, and researchers. Moreover, the Cellular and Molecular Biology Research Center at the School of Allied Medical Sciences’ campus is always prepared to cooperate in research projects and offer services.
 
School Library
The library of the School of Allied Medical Sciences is at the service of professors and students, holding 2008 Persian and 1406 English books, 65 Persian and 170 English journals, 370 thesis and dissertations, and 60 CDs.
