Responsibilities:The
Vice Chancellor’s Office for Student and Cultural Affairs plays a significant role in the University to revive the Iranian-Islamic cultural in the young generation. Culture is essential since the Supreme Leader has chosen it as this year’s motto and discussed the necessity of emphasis on culture by the youth. Culture, however, goes beyond a motto or a particular year. Rather, it is an intrinsic movement with a specific mechanism. Meanwhile, as the leading scientific and educational center for health management and economy in Iran, the Vice-Chancellor’s Office for Student Affairs at the School of Health Management and Information Sciences tries to respond to the concerns of students with the help of a religious and dedicated team and has been successful by establishing a road map. It attempts to resist to Western cultural invasions.
Goals and responsibilities
1. Planning, supervising, and guiding students in cultural affairs
2. Increasing student activities
3. Considering facilities for the expansion of cultural activities
4. Holding various religious and cultural ceremonies
5. Identifying contemporary cultural dilemmas in society and their effects on students
6. Forming student cultural centers
7. Including students in the School's cultural affairs
8. Evaluating students’ cultural status based on their participation in cultural affairs
9. Encouraging students to perform cultural activities
10. Cooperating with other institutes to resolve student problems
