Master in Radiobiology
Radiobiology is a branch of medical physics, the main subject of which is the study of the effects of
ionizing/non-ionizing radiation on living systems. In this field, students, after completing a theoretical and practical
training course, become familiar with the principles and foundations of this discipline and are prepared
to serve the community.
The Radiobiology program aims to train specialists who can work in professional areas such as
understanding and controlling the biological effects of radiation, radiation source management, physical
and health care of staff in relevant centers, and preventing the occurrence of radiation accidents in
those facilities. Graduates of this program should be able to address society's needs in practical
radiobiology and radiation protection, in addition to advancing theoretical knowledge of radiation
effects on living tissues
